Important information about mTickets:

  • Unfortunately advanced purchased fares cannot be refunded
  • mTickets are changeable prior to date of travel for a fee. Please contact our Web Support Team on 0345 7000 125 or by email at fgw.websupport@firstgroup.com
  • You must activate your ticket on the day of travel when you arrive at the station
  • Please don't forget to charge your device as you will need to buy a full fare ticket in order to travel if you can't show your mTicket
  • Just like a normal ticket, you need to show the mTicket to staff at the station Gateline and on board the train
  • mTickets are only available on certain routes on First Great Western trains offering you the option of advanced purchase or flexible fares
  • If your ticket does not appear in the "My Tickets" section of the app, or if you experience any other problems with the app, please call our Web Support Team on 0345 7000 125 or contact us by email at fgw.websupport@firstgroup.com
  • If you need a proof of purchase, simply create an account or log in to buy your ticket and we will email your purchase confirmation
  • In order to receive compensation for a delay or cancellation, you need to have proof of purchase or your device to hand when contacting us
