With over 70 artists from 35 countries performing across 8 stages, 2008 is set to offer a feast of brilliant live music; weekend camping; a full programme of participatory workshops for adults and children; Taste The World cookery sessions cooked by festival artists; an Irish Ceilidh and late night dance, DJ’s and grooves at Club WOMAD.
If you do manage to pause for one moment there is the ‘World Of Wellbeing’ tent where massages can take away your aches and pains and a sauna to relax exhausted muscles!
Taking the train to WOMAD, via Chippenham station could never
be easier. With a regular shuttle bus from right outside the station and regular High Speed Trains every half an hour from London Paddington, Reading, Swindon, Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa and connections from the rest of the country, why not let the train take the strain instead?
