- First Great Western welcomes ORR proposal to double North Cotswolds track
- 5 June 2008 First Great Western welcomes the scheme being proposed by the Office of Rail Regulation ( ORR), to redouble the line from Moreton in Marsh to Evesham and to extend the double line east to Charlbury. The proposal is designed to deliver a Public Performance Measure (PPM) on this route of more than 90% of trains arriving on time. The work is planned to be delivered over the next two years.
