Modernising the Great Western network

The Great Western is being modernised as part of the biggest investment in this railway since it was built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, just over 175 years ago. Not only will this deliver a better service, more seats and improved stations but it will also help to stimulate economic growth across the UK.
