Train times
London Paddington to Penzance
Monday to Friday - The Night Riviera Sleeper departs from London Paddington at 2345 and arrives in Penzance at 0800 the following morning.
Sunday - The Night Riviera Sleeper departs from London Paddington at 2350 and arrives in Penzance at 0859 the following morning.
Penzance to London Paddington
Monday to Friday - The Night Riviera Sleeper departs from Penzance at 2145 and arrives in London Paddington at 0543 the following morning.
Sunday - The Night Riviera Sleeper departs from Penzance at 2115 and arrives in London Paddington at 0506 the following morning.
Customers are welcome to remain on board until 0700.
Check-in
If you are joining the Night Riviera Sleeper at London Paddington, you may board from 2230. If you are joining at Penzance, you may board from 2105 Monday to Friday and 2045 on Sunday.
Tickets and fares
There are two types of Sleeper cabin available:
Solo cabin - bunk style for single occupancy (featuring Volo TV)
Twin cabin - bunk style for shared occupancy (without Volo TV)
There are two ticket options for the Night Riviera Sleeper:
Travel ticket plus Sleeper cabin supplement:
Pay an extra fee in addition to your train ticket (Solo or Twin cabin supplements available)
Inclusive ticket:
A package offering one-way travel and overnight berth accommodation (Solo or Twin cabin)

Single journey in a Solo cabin with Volo TV from £49
Single journey in a Twin cabin without Volo TV (for two people sharing) from £69 per cabin.
Due to high demand for this service customers looking to make a reservation (either in seats or berths) are advised to do so as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
On-board and at the station
We have a range of services for Sleeper customers, to make your journey a comfortable and relaxing experience:
- There is a dedicated Service Leader to provide an at-seat food and drink service in the Lounge Car.
- The Sleeper cabins are air-conditioned for your comfort.
- Solo Sleeper cabins are equipped with Volo In-train Entertainment System, which is free to use.
- All Sleeper customers can opt to have a morning wake-up call with complimentary breakfast.
- Complimentary refreshments are provided for all Sleeper customers in the lounge.
- There is a dedicated Customer Host on-hand to answer any queries and to ensure a comfortable and safe journey.
- There is a buffet service on board offering a range of food and drinks.
- On arrival at London Paddington you are welcome to remain in your cabin until 0700.
- You are welcome to use the First Class lounge on arrival at London Paddington.
- There are showers available for Sleeper cabin customers upon arrival at London Paddington.
Travelling with dogs
Only assistance dogs can be conveyed in sleeper cabins. Dogs can otherwise travel in the guard's van in a suitable pet carrier.
