Night Riviera Sleeper Service
The Night Riviera Sleeper is a refreshing way to travel between London Paddington and Devon and Cornwall, getting you to your destination early in the morning after you have had a relaxing night's sleep.
The Sleeper operates Sunday to Friday between London Paddington and Penzance. It calls at Reading, Taunton, Exeter, Newton Abbot, Plymouth and then mainline stations in Cornwall.
The Night Riviera Sleeper Train Times
From London Paddington
The Sleeper departs from London Paddington at 23:45 and arrives in Penzance at 08:00 the following morning.
From Penzance
The Sleeper departs from Penzance at 21:35 and arrives in London Paddington at 05:41 the following morning. Customers are welcome to remain on the Sleeper until 07:00.
Please note: On Sundays this service departs Penzance at 21:15 and from London at 23:50.
Overnight improvement works on the network may affect the Sleeper service, so please do check train times before you travel.
Prices for Sleeper berths
The following supplements are payable on top of your train ticket for a Sleeper berth.
Standard: single berth cabin £45
Standard: twin berth cabin (bunk-style beds) £30 per berth
Please note that these supplements are not valid with Advance tickets. We have a range of Inclusive tickets which include one-way advance purchase train travel and overnight Sleeper berth from £49 per person.

- There is a dedicated Service Leader to provide an at-seat food and drink service in the Lounge Car.
- The Sleeper berths are air-conditioned for your comfort.
- Solo Sleeper berths have been fitted with the VOLO In-train Entertainment System, which is free of charge to use.
- All Sleeper berth customer can have a morning wake up call with complimentary breakfast .
- Complimentary refreshments are provided for all Sleeper berth customers in the lounge.
- There is a dedicated Customer Host on-hand to answer any queries and to ensure a comfortable and safe journey.
- On arrival in London Paddington you are welcome to remain on the Sleeper until 07:00.
- You can use the First Class lounge on arrival into London Paddington.
- There are showers available for Sleeper berth customers upon arrival at London Paddington.

Travelling with dogs
Only guide dogs can be conveyed in sleeper cabins, otherwise they should travel in the guard's van in a suitable pet carrier.
