Slough station improvements

New trees and waiting room, a fresh approach to your station

Works to improve Slough Station are progressing well in the run up to the Grand Station Opening event which is taking place on 25th May.
Customers who have visited Slough recently will have noticed that the new access road is progressing well at the front of the station, which will vastly improve the look and access for all customers at the station’s forecourt. The significant investment also covers new kerbing, drainage as well as tree which will be planted at the front of the station, providing some much-needed greenery to the Station Approach.

New lifts are being installed to each platform, which will make crossing the station easier for all of our customers. We are pleased to announce that the new waiting room, toilets, ticket office, and customer Information areas are almost complete. There may still be some work taking place in the main ticket hall whilst tiling works progress.
