Working at a Suburban station you will be the face of First Great Western. Duties will include issuing tickets and assisting customers with their travel enquiries. The successful candidate will be of smart appearance with good communication skills. Experience of cash handling in a customer - orientated environment would be an advantage although not essential, as full training will be given.
You should also be able to cope well under pressure and have excellent customer service skills. You must be physically fit, as your duties will also require you to carry out salting of the platforms, when necessary. The shifts will be on a part time Monday – Friday basis.

This is a safety critical post with responsibilities for the safe working of trains.

An essential element is to provide a high standard of customer care. There are variable shift patterns.

The Depot Manager requires an enthusiastic, flexible, methodical and organised individual to join the Production Support teams.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out shunting as and when needed and may be required to assist with other associated duties and support the multi-skilled technicians along with fueling vehicles.
Following training, the job requirements will also include competence of Rules & Regulations & must be able to adhere to Operating Procedure at all times.
The successful candidate must meet medical fitness standard for shunting work, including PTS standard. Candidates will be required to attend an assessment centre for this role.
- Multi Skilled Technician

The Depot Manager seeks committed, flexible and hard working individuals to join the production maintenance team as a multi-skilled technician.
The job holder will assist in providing a complete service support covering all examination / repair tasks on a wide variety of rolling stock with a clear focus on safety, team working and service delivery.
All applicants should be able to demonstrate good fault finding / diagnostic skills on a wide range of systems utilising schematic drawings and test equipment.
All applicants should be dual trained (mechanical / electrical), apprentice trained or attained NVQ level 3, possessing appropriate certification to support this.
